Due to the new regulations from 16th October 2020, tables inside or outside the cafe may only be made up from one household or support bubble to a maximum of 6 (this includes adults and children).
The cafe and farm shop will now be open from 10.00 am - 3.30 pm daily and closed Wednesday and Thursday throughout October.
We will be asking customers sanitise your hands and to wait at the door for us to take you to your table. We have had to reduce the number of tables in the café and we will guide you through the new ordering process.
Due to staffing restrictions we will be operating a reduced menu and will endeavour to include as many as the old favourites as possible.
We want to reassure you that there’s even regular cleaning; all our staff will be washing their hands every twenty minutes and sanitisinghigh contact ‘touch points’ every half an hour. The tables and chairs will be cleaned after each customer. At every step, we’ll be following the highest of cleaning standards throughout.
We’ll do our upmost to keep a safe distance where possible when taking orders and serving your table.
You’ll notice some changes to the way we’re laying the tables. To reduce the ‘contact’ with cutlery, we’re placing the knives, forks, and napkins in tankards and placing them on your table. The same goes for the salt and peppers, which will be cleaned after every use.
Toilets will be regularly cleaned and only one person will be permitted in at any one time.
Government Test and Trace Scheme
We will ask for contact details from a member of each party as per the Government steer to collect information to ‘Test and trace’ if needed.
We also respectfully ask that you don’t move tables and chairs around, they have been positioned with thought.
If you are feeling at all unwell, please save your visit for another day.
If you have any particular concerns or queries please call us on 015242 41203.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
